ISO 9001:2000

Formalised quality systems based on Norwegian NS 5801 and API specifications have existed within Geoservices since 1987. ISO 9002 was adopted by the Company for services in 1988. ISO 9001 was selected and implemented in early 1990 for manufacturing and design facilities within Geoservices.

Geoservices Head Office and our major operational bases around the world now have Quality Systems that are independently certified to ISO 9001:2000 standards by local competent authorities. Scope: Mud Logging and production service to the petroleum industry (including equipment design and manufacture).

 The Geoservices Quality Assurance system consists of four levels:

Level 1: The Corporate Quality Manual
Level 2: General Quality Assurance Procedures
Level 3: Detailed work instructions and procedures, operating and engineering manuals (including specific District Quality Assurance &               Control procedures, field operations manuals and procedures specific to a given plant or operation).
Level 4: Quality records: reports, quality control documents, field service reports, history cards, failure reports, etc.
